My mother is a native born Puerto Rican. If you know any Puerto Ricans you probably know about the Coqui frog. It is almost their national symbol and they are very proud of this frog that is native to the island.
I think that's why my mother is a frog fan. She loves all frogs but especially the colorful tree frogs. She even has one tattooed on her ankle.
I painted this picture for her as a Christmas present. It took quite a bit of time to get it to look right but the end result was worth it. I believe it's one of my better paintings.
